Meet The ROYO Family!

For decades, husband and wife duo, Ronit and Yoel, shared a vision of creating healthier, delicious bread. Ronit, a registered dietitian, and Yoel, a lifelong baker, realized they could combine their passions to create high-fiber, low-carb, plant-based bread that tastes just as good as the real thing. So they set out on this quest to make thoughtfully crafted bread made with clean ingredients.

ROYO Bread Co. is a family owned and operated company with a line of low-carb, superfood-rich baked goods — including bread, bagels, buns and more — that are not only good for you, but that you’ll actually enjoy eating. Their children, Doreen and Gil, run everything from marketing to logistics.

ROYO Ingredients

The best part about ROYO products? They’re crafted from superfood ingredients like flaxseed and psyllium husk, and are sure to satisfy your every craving.

All ROYO products are made with wholesome, plant-based ingredients that are high in fiber and protein. Co-founder and Registered Dietitian, Ronit, makes sure every ingredient in ROYO will nourish your body. Here’s a little bit more about our core ingredients:

  • Flaxseeds: This mighty seed is our all-star ingredient. That’s because flaxseed is high in omega-3 fats as well as fiber. Not to mention, it’s a great source of plant-based protein. Flax seeds are also loaded with vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin B1, copper, magnesium, and phosphorus.

  • Psyllium husk: This vital ingredient in all of our products is a form of plant-based fiber. It contains soluble fiber and insoluble fiber, which helps increase fullness, slow digestion, and most importantly, keeps you regular!

  • Wheat protein: This ingredient is otherwise known as “wheat gluten” and it’s essential for holding our products together. It contains trace amounts of wheat and it’s a rich source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals!

  • Apple cider vinegar: There are no harmful preservatives in ROYO products because we use apple cider vinegar, a natural preservative. Studies have shown that apple cider vinegar improves insulin sensitivity during a high-carbohydrate meal and lowers post-meal blood sugar levels. Apple cider vinegar can also boost your energy levels if you are feeling fatigued thanks to potassium and enzymes.
