Tuna Melt

This recipe was developed by Amanda Litman, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and the CEO & Founder of Health by Amanda Robyn. Her approach to wellness is not "one size fits all". This tuna melt is one of the healthiest tuna melts you'll find out there because it's made with clean ingredients and a Low Carb ROYO Bun.

What you'll need:

  • 1 Low Carb ROYO Buns
  • 5 oz. can (net weight) solid white albacore tuna in water, drained
  • 1 slice cheese or ¼ cup cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • Spices to taste (everything bagel seasoning)

How to make:

  1. Toast the bun just the way you like it.
  2. While the bun is toasting, put the drained tuna in a bowl and add the mustard. Mash the tuna and mustard with a fork.
  3. Add the tuna/mustard on the top of the bun.
  4. Put the cheese on top.
  5. Broil in the oven on high for 3-5 minutes then top with everything bagel seasoning and enjoy with some fresh greens!
